Principal: David Reiss

David Reiss received his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the California Institute of Technology in 1981. He has extensive experience in both academia and industry and has held positions at a premier government laboratory, a Silicon Valley start-up, an Internet infrastructure start-up, a top-tier defense contractor, as the scientific communications director for Stephen Wolfram for the completion and launch of A New Kind of Science, as well as the usual litany of academic fellowship positions. David Reiss provides a broad range of creative consulting services relating to the pure and applied sciences. He has a strong gift for analyzing, distilling, synthesizing, and communicating scientific and technical content both in writing and orally, and for general and technical audiences.

Reiss also has a subspecialty in Mathematica consulting and training. He is an accredited Mathematica consultant, and also served for a number of years as technical editor for Wolfram Research's MathSource.
